Graphtec - Flatbed and Roll plotters.
Graphtec has a long standing reputation in the graphic industry for building reliable precision plotters for cutting, scoring, and plotting patterns in vinyl, sandblast mask, and packaging board.
Graphtec offers a variety of cutter sizes, tool head configurations, and material hold-down systems to accommodate printed sheets from screen printers or package designers.
They also produce a variety of roll cutters for the sign industry for cutting vinyl letters or prints produced on a roll.

Graphtec's VC series cutting plotters use vacuum adhesion to the cutting table to give you the firm hold-down that you need when you're cutting "cutter resistant" materials.
And you won't need a protective backing sheet -- the material adheres to and is cut directly on the writing/cutting panel itself.
Great Options for flatbeds
All models accept media widths up to 40 inches and 2-pen models enable loading of one pen for drawing and a knife holder for cutting. The extra pen holder aids in placing printed sheets for cutting.

A new high-force pen block has also been added to the flatbed cutters to help with thick, hard materials (the maximum cutting force has been increased from 500 gf to 1000 gf), and eliminates the need to go over the same area twice to make sure the blade cuts all the way through. This enables you to cut materials that other models just can't cut.
Difficult outdoor applications like this automotive work are easy to cut on the Graphtecs. |
The cutting plotters with vacuum adhesion easily handle oil board for stencils, gas cylinders, wood packaging, containers and road signs; compressed foam sheets; garment patterns, and rubber sandblast templates.
All models offer a large interactive LCD window enabling users to set and store up to 4 sets of cutting conditions. To boost the productivity of your entire configuration, these plotters come with a 1 MB memory buffer to free your computer up quickly for other tasks.
Up to four application-specific user settings can be programmed via the control panel for instantaneous recall and execution.
The type of cutting blade/pen, cutting offset value, cutting/plotting speed, cutting pressure, and quality can be independently programmed in each of four user settings depending on the type of material and design you choose.
Once the desired user settings have been programmed, the on-board, non-volatile memory will maintain those settings, until they are reprogrammed, for single-key-stroke selection, thus minimizing setup time to enhance job productivity and flexibility.
