Ledco Econocraft Laminator
The Ledco Econocraft Laminators 30", 60", and 25" Jr.

Econocraft Cold Laminators are excellent tools for laminating and mounting with application tape, pressure sensitive overlaminates or transfer adhesives.

The Econocraft laminators reduce labor costs by allowing you to quickly apply application tape or other laminates to vinyl lettering or printed media. You can also laminate, vinyl lettering or prints to boards to the substrate, or a vinyl background on a sign blank.

Econocraft laminators help you and your staff do a great many things fast and without flaws. And it is easy to learn.

A Scrap Rewind with an adjustable clutch takes up the release liner found on most pressure sensitive films. The Econocraft 44 " & 60" laminators run up to 25 ft. per minute.

All models come with standard 3" material mandrels and a foot pedal that frees your hands up for aligning your work. A Bottom Supply Roll assembly can help feed rolls of printed media perfectly straight. (Standard on the 25" Econocraft Jr.)

An available Precision Feed Tray provides movable left and right hand guides for exact feeding of quantities of same size materials. The feed trays are non-ferrous, so magnetic materials may be applied.

An optional slitter attachment for the laminate cuts the laminate as it leaves the supply roll for application to narrower substrates, for multiple-up production, or for striping.

The Econocraft Junior
The Econocraft Jr. is the least expensive (25") laminator and works great for applying application tape, certain other laminates, and mounts on thinner substrates up to 3/8" thick. The 30" and 60". models are heavier duty, easier to set up, and mount on boards up to 1/2" thick.

Reduces labor costs: Jobs such as applying vinyl to sign blanks or putting transfer tape on vinyl signage are very labor intensive. As the materials get wider and longer, the labor costs without using a laminator become disproportionately high. Bubbles and wrinkles are introduced, and waste increases. When signage is ruined during the taping or application process, the cost of recutting, reweeding, and reapplying will usually take much of the profit out of a job.

Whether it's transfer tape (premask), vinyl, transfer adhesive, clear polyester, or other pressure-sensitive material, an Econocraft Jr. will put it down effortlessly without bubbles or wrinkles.

Save time/improve quality
The supply roll tension knobs are important, because without some supply roll tension, most films and tapes will wrinkle during lamination. Supply roll tension is controlled with knobs on the 3" mandrels that hold the rolls. The laminating roller gap is adjusted with a single knob. A reverse drive switch makes it simple to back material out of the laminating rollers or correct a material wrap-around.

Using an Econocraft laminator is much easier than doing the same work by hand. Just like a fax machine, you'll wonder how you did without one for so long. Fast and versatile, they require little instruction for you to start laminating.
