Convex™ is a series of vinyl's that conform to convex surfaces without wrinkling.

Applications include hard-hats, athletic helmets, bikes, jet skis, cars, and other products with molded or rounded surfaces. The film is very pliable, yet for most applications it does not require any application tape. All CONVEX™ brand vinyl's have high performance permanent clear pressure sensitive adhesives.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Cold Weather Convex™
When the temperature drops, use the only material rated for cold temperature application. Our special adhesive together with the soft Convex vinyl works great for anyone applying decals to cold surfaces.



Thicker is better with Convex laminate.
Many markets will ask for thick decals. And now that you know where to get it, you can produce 8, 12, 16 and even 24 mil. thick decals by printing on Convex base vinyl and then laminating with another 4 or 8 mil Convex™ or Pro-Shield™ laminate. This will give you a durable decal with the print sandwiched between the base vinyl and the laminate. If you want a tougher laminate, try our Pro-Shield. It is currently available up to 20 mils thick (.020").

Don't have a laminator? Let us recommend one.
Yes you can laminate by hand, but it gets old fast.
Workhorse
This laminator can run cold, hot, or heat assisted laminates. You can also slit your labels and decals into smaller rolls and use it to mount your graphics to substrates.
Econocraft and Econocraft Jr.
The Econocraft is geared more to the sign maker who needs wider laminating capabilities (up to 60"). It is a cold only laminator and can mount on substrates up to 1" thick. Both the Econocraft and the Jr. are great for applying application tape. The Jr. is a lighter duty laminator for the more budget minded shop.

Use with the GERBER EDGE®, Roland PC 60 & 600, SPARK 1612 and other thermal transfer printers. Solvent ink based printers tested include Roland, Mimaki and Arizona.

HIGH-BOND Convex™
This is the same vinyl as Convex™ with a special adhesive that is very high tack, non-slip, and has excellent adhesion to low energy plastics such as motor bike fenders and number plates. High Bond also adheres well to powder-paint coated surfaces found on many machinery surfaces. We added 2 mils of adhesive as opposed to 1 mil for better bonding on rough textured surfaces.

HIGH-BOND vs. regular Convex™
When we first developed Convex™ for football helmets, our customers wanted the decals to remove clean with as little residual adhesive left on the helmet as possible. This cuts down on the labor involved in refurbishing helmets for new decals. Regular Convex™ will remove clean from most smooth or painted surfaces without leaving adhesive behind. Convex™ & Convex™ HIGH-BOND give you the best of both worlds.


And Convex™ Supreme UV laminate!
Our customers have been extremely pleased with the ease at which Convex™ is applied.. and the professional look it gives to their graphics. Many customers want the same conformability in an extended life vinyl. Convex™ Supreme is the answer.



Convex™ Supreme is a 7 year outdoor film. Supreme Laminate is 7 year film with UV inhibitors to block UV light and increase the life of your print. When you laminate with the Supreme UV, you create an 8 mil thick, super high gloss decal that lasts longer than most vehicles. The resulting product is easy for end users to apply over curved surfaces. The film and adhesive are also gas resistant, making it the perfect film for boats, jet skis, street bikes, etc.
