DuraCoat
sublimation ribbons are designed to create vibrant images for transfer
onto ceramic, metal, glass, wood, polyester fabric, plastic and many other
materials.
How
Does DURACOAT® Dye Sublimation work?
Simply reverse print your art with the GERBER EDGE® onto Duracoat
Transfer Paper (only $29) with the Duracoat Sublimation Ribbons. The resulting
transfer sheet can be applied to a variety of surfaces using a standard
heat press.

How
are
DuraCoat® Sublimation Ribbon Transfers different from other types
of digital heat transfers?
Heat transfers
created with color laser, inkjet, or electrostatic printers use a polymer
coated transfer paper to fuse ordinary toner or ink particles onto the
surface of a substrate. The result is a "decal-like" transfer
that can peel, crack, fade, and discolor over time.
Duracoat® Sublimation Ribbons rely on special transfer inks and a
dyeing process called sublimation to transfer its ink below the surface
of a substrate. The result is a "tattoo-like" transfer that
will not peel, crack or fade and will last for many years.
