Graphic Marking Systems Portable Roll Slicer

Provide narrow rolls of labels on their own cores for your customers.

Many companies who buy labels receive them packaged in individual rolls. Many of those companies use automated label dispensers (that require individual rolls) to assist in their packaging needs. We recognized the need for an economical tool for GERBER EDGE®, Spark 1612, and Roland printer users to slice wider rolls into smaller individual rolls.

The Portable Roll Slicer is fast and easy to use. Here is how it works:
Just print your labels with at least a .1" gap between them. Once they are printed, just roll them up on a core*. Then apply a piece of 1"-2" application tape across the edge of the label run to keep the roll tight. Simply slide the roll of labels onto the PVC roll holder and position the knife guide where you want to cut. Close the protective cover and press the power button as shown in the photo at the top of this page. The roll will then spin very fast. As the roll is spinning, press the lever down for a few seconds (shown below) to make your first cut. Continue by sliding the knife over to the next spot you want to make a cut. It's that simple.


*We can provide you extra cores if you run out.

It's true... You can now print unique patterns and slice perfectly clean cuts of striping for those custom striping jobs.
Cut rolls of striping as narrow as 1/10" or smaller. The heavy duty blade cuts through a total of 3/4" of material including the core. The core holder is made of PVC and does not dull the blade.

It's Portable!
The Portable Roll Slicer has a powerful, long lasting motor that runs off an internal rechargeable battery. A typical charge will last for more than a month under average use. It takes up little room and is designed to be portable and convenient for those on-site decorating jobs. The Slicer is available in 18" and 26" models. The machine shown here is for up to 18" rolls.
