The top Photo is showing the base printed vinyl being pulled into the laminator in the direction of the red arrows. The arrow tips also happen to be pointing directly at the slitters that come standard with the Workhorse. The slitters can be used to slit off the edges of the finished/laminated roll. Multiple slitter heads can be attached so that you can make rolls of labels.
The pictures below are of the slitters from the front and rear of the laminator.

The slitters are adjusted by knobs on the side of the machine and engaged by pulling a knob at the front of it.

The laminate being used in the top photo is Convex™ 4 mil. clear. The base printed vinyl are samples of the Convex™ that were printed with the GERBER EDGE®. Once laminated they are loaded and registered on the plotter for cutting.

The photo on the right shows the stand. Ryan is laminating polycarbonate to our 2 mil High Bond polyester film that was printed using the GERBER EDGE®
