the bottom front mandrel. It is then loaded into the front rollers (Nip)
with the polycarbonate laminate being pulled down from the top supply
mandrel. |
After
the laminate has gone through the Nip rollers it is also pulled through
the "Pull rollers." The pull rollers serve several purposes.
First, they pull the hot laminates taut so they cool while passing over
the fan without curling. Secondly pulling the material taut helps when
the slitters are engaged. |
