The 42-bit ArtixScan™ 1100 offers graphic designers, art directors, photographers and other imaging professionals quality scanned images at up to 3.9 Dmax at a fraction of the cost of a drum scanner.

This truly versatile scanner can capture reflective photos at an optical resolution of 1000 x 2000 dpi and includes a built-in tray for scanning transparencies. The ArtixScan 1100 features Microtek's patented Emulsion Direct Imaging Technology™ or E.D.I.T.™ that allows the user to scan 35mm, 4 x 5", or 2 1/4" transparencies without any glass between the film and the scanner lens. A high quality 8000-element CCD delivers uncompromisingly sharp images. This Dual Platform model includes a PCI SCSI card that is compatible with Windows PCs as well as Macintosh G3 and G4 systems.
