The ArtixScan 2020 offers the same ease of use, high-quality and attractive design as the rest of Microtek's high-end scanning family, but can handle originals of up to A3 and has an impressive optical resolution of 2000 x 2000 dpi.

Hi-resolution and 3.4 Dmax (transmissive) and 2.8 Dmax (reflective), ArtixScan 2020 is capable of scanning originals up to A3 in size (11x17). For those images (transmissive or reflective) needing exceptional accuracy, there is a special ‘High Resolution area with an optical resolution of 2000 x 2000dpi.

E.D.I.T. (Emulsion Direct Imaging Technology) (.pdf - 198 K)
The Microtek's patented E.D.I.T. technology, a technological milestone for the development of high-end scanners, enables the CCD lens to read directly from the emulsion side of the film without any glass between the lens and the scanned image.
