With its true 42-bit color depth, 2571ppi optical resolution, Dmax of 3.9, and a new, low-noise Kodak 10,000-element CCD, the ArtixScan 4500t pulls out, with virtually no discernable image noise, the faintest details in shadow or highlight areas on images. The result? Drum quality film scans sutiable for prePress or archival-quality output.

Microtek's patented E.D.I.T. technology, a technological milestone for the development of high-end scanners, enables the CCD lens to read directly from the emulsion side of the film without any glass between the lens and the scanned image.
