OMEGA™ CP Design & Production Software provides a comprehensive set of software tools for graphic design and production.

OMEGA CP drives the Gerber Printers, providing virtually unlimited output possibilities. Import and export images in most popular formats, while retaining their vector and fill characteristics for further editing. Work with text and shapes using advanced design tools on an unlimited virtual work surface. Apply stroke and fill colors with click-and-drag ease from on-screen foil palettes.

A wide spot color selection is available using GerberColor and Spectratone color assignments. Pantone-approved simulations of solid PANTONE® colors are also available. Add striking effects with multiple color CMYK and multiple tint spot color gradients. Integrated color management ensures consistent color representation from scanned input through to finished production. A fast, multitasking plot program sends files to imaging devices and plotters in the background, leaving you free to work with other jobs at the same time. OMEGA's plot program also supports automated paneling, repeats, both local and remote output

MacImprintTM Version 1.2
Now drive the EDGE, EDGE 2 and Gerber plotters directly from Adobe Illustrator with the latest and greatest version of MacImprint: Version 1.2. MacImprint 1.2 builds on the excellent capabilities of the MacImprint with these new features: Support for USB connections to the GERBER EDGE and GERBER EDGE 2 (USB cable option sold seperately)

Capabilities of the Adobe Illustrator plug-in for the GERBER EDGE®.
Here is an overview of the capabilities of the Adobe Illustrator Plug-In for the GERBER EDGE®. The features below are in addition to the features included with the Macintosh® printer driver: Complete GerberColorTM Foil cartridge Spot Color Palette. Assign and print multiple GERBER EDGE® spot and process colors in a single job. Ability to assign cuts by adding a Cut layer in Illustrator. Create Paneled Images with moveable panel lines. Control the print order of GerberColor Foil cartridges. Step and repeat decals in the X and Y directions. Although neither the Plug-in nor the Macintosh printer dirver can print a placed .EPS file, this can be overcome in many cases by opening and parsing the .EPS file in Adobe Illustrator, and placing it back into the original file. Version 1.2 of the Adobe Illustrator Plug-In for the GERBER EDGE no longer requires installation of the QuickDraw® GX component of the MacOS.
